Active U.S. Coast Guard aid to navigation. Property is owned by the City of Rockland and managed by Friends of Rockland Harbor Lights, a chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation.
Accessibility: The lighthouse is at the end of a 7/8-mile-long breakwater, so visiting requires a nearly two-mile round trip walk. It is open weekends in summer. For more information, visit Friends of Rockland Harbor Lights.
