Accessibility: The lighthouse is not open to the public; it is accessible by boat and helicopter only. Views are possible from the public landing in Southport and from sightseeing cruises out of Boothbay Harbor.
In 2014, the keeper's house has been made available for overnight stays as the Inn at Cuckolds Lighthouse.
